Nancy Jo Thomason is a life-long Andersonian, with the exception of the short time after birth in Columbia while father, Glenn W. Thomason, finished law school. Nancy Jo grew up in the legal community in Anderson watching her father try cases and learning from him long before even graduating high school
After graduating with a BA in Journalism from the University of South Carolina, Nancy Jo earned her Juris Doctorate from the School of Law at the University of South Carolina.
Other than a year in the Greenville Solicitor's office, Nancy Jo has been in private practice in Anderson, representing people involved in family law litigation, applying for Social Security benefits, facing pending criminal charges, and needing help with personal injury cases.
Nancy Jo has a strong commitment to the Anderson community. She has served on several boards and volunteered to help many organizations in the Anderson area. These include:
